As a native of Harlem, this annual event is one that’s close to Ray Chew’s heart. Therefore him returning yet again this past weekend to musically direct a few of his talented friends to take audiences on a soulfully funktified journey was to be predicted.
This year’s Harlem Music Festival All-Star Band featured guest appearances by the likes of Wé Ani, Stout, and legendary member of LaBelle and recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Nona Hendryx.
